The Wageningen Summer School on Greenhouse Horticulture

Wageningen UR scientists will share their unique knowledge with international students and researchers during the first “Summer School on Protected Horticulture” that will be held in Wageningen, The Netherlands, from August, 24th through September, 4th, 2015.

After a general introduction on Protected Horticulture and a cursory review of important topics, we will explore crop,climate and root zone management in more detail, in a varied and attractive mix of lectures, practical case work, company visits and seminars by relevant actors and experts. The “social factor” will not be neglected: there will be joint dinners and a programme for the weekend can be prepared.

There will be excursions to the irst-class research facility of Wageningen UR Greenhouse Horticulture in Bleiswijk and to horticultural companies.
